Viva Guerra!

The great Pia Guerra, in her first series since Y THE LAST MAN wrapped, is even inking her own work on our upcoming DOCTOR WHO: THE FORGOTTEN series (written by Tony Lee, covers by Nick Roche). Here's a first look at her stuff.

VERY VERY Cool.
NOT just because it's got past Doctors in it.
NOT just because IDW has treated Who with the respect that the world's longest running TV science-fiction series deserve.
NOT just becuase IDW is a fantastic company.

BUT because it sounds like a BLOODY cool premise, and the art is fantastic to boot.

Wow, I don't know much about Dr. Who (does Torchwood count?,) but Pia Guerra? That's awesome! The art looks wonderful.

Torchwood's a DW spin-off, so yeah that kind of counts.

I'll be there with bells on to be sure.

I can't WAIT to see an IDW take on the Mighty Trout (Patrick Troughton).

I hope this bodes well for Spolight: Second Doctor (for example).
In fact, someone not a million miles away from here has written part of such a story (hmm, who could that be I wonder... ;) )
