Looking in the MIRROR

We're still a couple weeks shy of the debut issue of STAR TREK: MIRROR IMAGES launching (in stores on July 2), but that shouldn't mean I can't post a cover image for issue 4 and a page of interior art from issue 2, just to show you a bit of the "After Dark" feel this Mirror Universe seems to have, courtesy of Joe Corroney and David Messina, respectively.

Aw, man. I'm desperately trying to cut down on my comic book budget, and I had myself determined to NOT start buying any new titles. And then you had to go and show me this artwork.

Now I have to figure out which of my Marvel books to cut so I can read this one!

Which Marvel book? They're all telling one big Skrully story, right? That makes it simple--cut 'em all!

There, problem solved.

The best GREEN ALIEN are in this book!

Ha! Good point! To be honest, two of the Marvel titles I'm currently reading are purely because Joss Whedon has been writing them. But now that he's leaving "Astonishing X-Men" and "Runaways", I'm not sure I can justify those any more. Fortunately, IDW can supply some of the Whedon fix over here!

David - Thanks for commenting. Now I know where to find your blog!

Chris - So what's the big IDW Crossover Event going to be this summer? Can we look forward to Doctor Who picking up Angel and the "Everybody's Dead" crew in the TARDIS and appearing on the bridge of the Enterprise to help deal with a pesky Zombie Planet?
