Byrne notice

In addition to the big 500-page b&w COMPLETE NEXT MEN collection we did, next year we're also going to produce an oversize, full-color hardcover collection of John Byrne's NEXT MEN series. John produced a new cover for the book, too, the first time he's drawn these characters in some time. Now to talk him into doing full new NM comics...

Looks great! I like that you're publishing this in an oversized book. Byrne's art was really detailed and it can only look better at a larger size. Chris, is this color collection going to be recolored?

I am so glad Next Men is getting the big-time hardcover treatment, Chris! I hope you're able to convince JB to continue the series!

We're looking into the option of recoloring it all. It'd be nice to be able to give it the Absolute Sandman treatment, but that might not be possible.

Great news, Chris. I love the Next Men series. I hope this does well and we'll get some new JBNM tales.

Byrne's unprofessionalism when it comes to Next Men makes me sick. This comic is almost 15 years late - issue 31 was solicited when the previosu series ended and Byrne never delivered.

Instead he wastes time on agrabage like FX for a quick buck. Disgusting.

This project looks fantastic and I hope the publishers will take the time to re-color the book and give it the treatment it deserves.

Wow, "Anonymous," you've got both your facts and your spelling so wrong, I see why you're not willing to post your real name.

Hurrah for getting JB to produce a new piece of art with these incredible characters!
